The hotel offered quite comfortable and clean rooms that were vast and in good condition, although in need of updating to meet the Shangri-La standard. The service was attentive, making me feel like part of their family, although the experience was not as comfortable as expected. Staying at this hotel felt more like being in a premium hotel in Dongguan rather than an international brand in Suzhou. The rooms were neat and tidy with excellent views, great staff, and a wide variety available at breakfast, but there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes on the non-smoking floor.

The hotel offers a nice size room that is clean with friendly staff, but it can feel crowded and loud at times. The smell of cigarette on a non-smoking level is a downside.
